My Experience at Anomaly
For a short but meaningful time, I worked with ANOMALY, a contemporary e-commerce fashion brand based in New Delhi, India. My role focused on digital content management and creative strategy—an experience that has deepened my understanding of how content, commerce, and design come together in the fashion space.
One of my primary tasks was supporting ANOMALY’s product migration from Magento to Shopify. I collaborated closely with the developer to transfer over 200 products to the new CMS, ensuring product descriptions, visuals, and metadata were properly optimized for the Shopify platform. This hands-on experience taught me how vital structure and storytelling are in the backend of an e-commerce site.
I was also responsible for managing social media content, which included creating a mockup of their Instagram layout and scheduling posts for approval by the Creative Director. I designed visual assets tailored for the platform, including a GIF of one of their products—a creative piece that could be used in marketing emails or social posts, showcasing the brand’s sleek, minimalist aesthetic in a dynamic way.
